12th Artists' Plein Air Workshop in Niūronys

This short film captures the atmosphere of the 12th annual artist plein air held at the Horse Museum in Niūronys, Anykščiai (Lithuania).
As both the director, cinematographer, and editor, I aimed to portray not only the act of painting but also the quiet rhythm of collective creation — the scent of oil paint, the sound of brushes, the whisper of the fields, and the moments of shared focus among artists.

Through slow, breathing camera movement and natural light, the film immerses the viewer in the living pulse of the plein air — transforming documentation into experience.
It is a poetic observation of how art, nature, and human presence intertwine over the course of a few summer days.

„Tavo personažas“

The "Tavo Personažas" competition, a cornerstone of VDA Kaunas Faculty’s educational outreach, challenges 5th–12th-grade students to merge art and technology into imaginative character designs. Now in its seventh year, this event fosters interdisciplinary collaboration while spotlighting Lithuania’s emerging creative talents.

Kaunas Art Fair for Ukraine: Unity Through Creativity

On April 22, the courtyard of Vilnius Academy of Arts Kaunas Faculty transformed into a vibrant hub of solidarity during the second annual Kaunas Art Fair for Ukraine. Organized jointly by VDA Kaunas and the Lithuanian Artists’ Union, the event united Kaunas’ entire art community—students, painters, sculptors, faculty, and emerging musicians—to raise €5,900 for the NGO Blue/Yellow.

This jubilee plein-air workshop, taking place from 2023, combines the traditions of classical realism, historical memory and community creation. Organised by Donatas Inis and the Horse Museum.

Portugal Ring – An Afternoon of Art and Music

“Portugal Ring – An Afternoon of Art and Music” took place at the National Kaunas Drama Theatre, where composer Tadas Petrulis presented his musical composition. As the orchestra played, artists created paintings in real time, turning the event into a unique live performance blending sound and visual art.
